  • We have a wonderful celebration planned for Purim on Saturday, February 28th.  We will begin with a pot luck dinner at 4:45.  After dinner we will celebrate with games and music.  The evening will end with the reading of the Megillah at approxiately 6:30 PM. 

  • You won't want to miss this phenomenal concert at Pennbrooke Fairways on Sunday, March 15th, at 3:30 PM.  Our Rabbi, Karen Allen, is a magnificent professional pianist and singer with a beautiful voice.   She will be joined by Zoriy Zinger, a vioinist who was a soloist in the Russian Symphony Orchestra before moving to this country.  Together they have collaborated for many concerts, theater productions, and celebrations of exceptional diversity.  

    They will enchant us once again with a new musical production entitled 'More Mozart to the Movies'.  As the name suggests, they will be performing everything from the classical to the contemporary.  

    Tickets are just $18 and must be purchased in advance. Pay with cash or checks made out to Congregation Beth Sholom.

  • Rabbi Karen Allen will lead a guided discussion about the current Torah portions and the impact they have on our lives today. The community is invited to join this enlightening exchange at 1 pm on Thursday, February 26th, at the Sumter County Administration Building , 7375 Powell Rd. near Pinellas Plaza and 466A in Wildwood. (Look for the building with the gold dome).  This forum is a unique opportunity to talk with the rabbi about things that are important to you in an intimate and informal setting. The location is convenient to the Villages and to Leesburg as it is just north of Brownwood.
