Congregation Beth Sholom is a diverse and dynamic Rabbi-led congregation that is warm and welcoming.

Our Synagogue serves the needs of the Reform and Conservative Jewish population in central Lake County and the surrounding areas.

We welcome Shabbat with a blend of both modern and traditional customs, allowing all Jews to feel comfortable in our Temple and at our Services.

Latest News

  • Join us for our next Friday evening service on October 9th at 7 pm as Rabbi Allen leads our Shabbat and Simchat Torah service which will include a special Torah service to end the yearly reading cycle and begin a new one. Stay afterward to socialize with us at our Oneg Shabbat. 

  • Our next service is on Sunday, October 4th when we will celebrate Sukkot. The evening will begin at 5 PM with a pot luck dinner (no meat or shellfish, please!).  Services with Rabbi Allen will begin approximately 6 PM when we will say the Lulav and Etrog blessings in our Sukkah. Once everone has a chance to shake the Lulav, we will move back inside for our Sukkot service.  Adults and children alike will love taking part in this very unique service. Guests are welcome. Please call the synagogue at 352-326-3692 to RSVP for the pot luck dinner.
