Celebrate Tu B'Shevat and Shabbat Jan 11th

We will begin our observance on Friday evening, January 11th at 6:30 pm with a Tu B'Shevat Seder.  This is a short Seder celebrating the New Year of the Trees.  The Seder plate involves the fruits of the tree - nuts with shells and fruits with peels.  Four shades of wine are also part of the ritual.
The Shabbat service will follow at 7:00 pm.  Socialize with our members afterwards at the Oneg Shabbat.

Please remember to bring food for the Leesburg Food Bank whenever you come to services.

The Personal and Congregational Benefits of Contributions

If your visit to our website or to our Temple motivates you to support Congregation Beth Sholom, either as a member or a guest, you can easily do so by clicking the "Donate" button below. There will be an option on one of the screens to 'send a message to the seller'.  Use that option to tell us what the donation is for.  We support both the congregation needs of our members and others through our Temple's acts of Tzedakah.

There are many ways to honor, celebrate or remember a loved one or special event and help the Jewish community at the same time. A financial contribution allows Congregation Beth Sholom to strengthen its member services and serve the community. In-kind contributions can work in many ways. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a contribution in honor, celebration, or memory of any one or an event, please call Treasurer Dave Englander at 352-504-4402.

Sponsoring an Oneg brings special pleasure to our religious services. Call Anita Sherman at 352-787-9681 to discuss an Oneg Shabbat.
